Research means to learn about your subject by using resources such as the internet, the library, etc.

It was positive because I made an A and also learned about about my subject.

2. Why you chose it: When we learned this I thought it was very interesting, but we didn't learn alot about it so I would like to learn more.

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas? I found it difficult because I couldn't seem to think of fat question, but could easily think of many skinny questions. The sheet did help me find out exactly what I did and did not know about the Great Depression, therefore making it easier for me to research.

1. What have I learned today? I learned that not only was the U.S. affected by the Great Depression, but that the whole world was affected by it.
2. What problems have I had? I have had the problem of deciding what questions are fat questions and what questions are skinny questions.

4. What will I do next? I will go research the Great Depression some more and add more notecards.
